The FC311A-2 converts between 10/100/1000 Mbps copper Ethernet and 1000 Mbps single-mode fiber, enabling cost-effective long-distance network extensions. Using WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, this converter transmits and receives data simultaneously over a single fiber strand, simplifying fiber deployments in campus and enterprise environments. Designed for the Omada managed networking ecosystem, the FC311A-2 supports auto-negotiation for both speed and duplex mode, with auto MDI/MDIX detection for flexible cabling.
