Questions buyers ask

Which FortiGate do I need for a small office?

Match the threat protection throughput to your internet line: the 40F handles 600 Mbps with all security features on, the 60F 700 Mbps and the 80F 900 Mbps. Count ports and Wi-Fi access points too: the 40F has 5 ports, the 60F and 80F have 10.

What is the difference between the FortiGate 80F and 81F?

Performance is the same. The 81F adds 128 GB of local storage, so logs and reports can be kept on the firewall itself instead of in FortiAnalyzer or FortiCloud.

Is the security licence included?

The FortiGate bundles we list include the first year of FortiCare support and FortiGuard Unified Threat Protection, as named on each product. After that the licence is renewed yearly; Ryzen can handle the renewal before it lapses.

How much does a FortiGate cost in Malaysia?

FortiGate prices depend on the model, the licence bundle and the term, so we quote them. Send a request and we reply within one working day.
