Which Synology Plus NAS is best for a small office?

The 4-bay DS425+ at RM 2,719 suits most small offices: 4 drives, 2.5GbE and NVMe cache slots. The DS925+ at RM 3,269 reads about twice as fast (522 MB/s against 278 MB/s) and grows to 9 drives with an expansion unit.

What is the difference between the DS725+ and the DS925+?

Both have two 2.5GbE ports and grow with the DX525 expansion unit. The DS725+ has 2 bays (up to 7 drives) and reads at 276 MB/s; the DS925+ has 4 bays (up to 9 drives) and reads at 522 MB/s.

Can I add more drives later?

Yes on the DS725+, DS925+, DS1525+ and DS1825+, which take expansion units. The DS225+ and DS425+ stay at 2 and 4 drives, so choose those only when the capacity you need fits in the box.
